About Ivy

In July of 2006, after 18 years as an officer with the Cedar Rapids Police Department, Ivy S. Meeker became a licensed private investigator and started her own business, Investigations by Ivy. She provides services such as person locates, witness interviewing, surveillance, process of service and personal injury investigations. In addition to Ivy’s 18 years in law enforcement, she has extensive professional experience, training, and education including:

• An Associate’s degree in Legal Assistance
• An Associate’s degree in Law Enforcement
• Membership in the Iowa Association of Private Investigators
• Member of Legal Support Professionals of Linn County
• Graduate of the Cedar Rapids Police Academy
• Ivy’s specialties include criminal defense and civil pre-trial investigation and preparation.
